Grow your own Black Oyster / Marbled Oyster (Pleurotus spp) mushrooms on your counter-top, in a mini-greenhouse, on a patio, or in the backyard! These stately beauties are easy to grow and their flavour is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Our kits will allow you to grow several large florets of one of the worlds finest mushroom marvels.

We produce these kits in small, hand-crafted batches on our family farm in the Cascade Foothills of Western Washington. Your harvest should total around 1-2 lbs of fresh mushrooms. We use Pacific Northwest Red Alder, Organic Rye Grain, Pure Shiitake Mushroom Culture, and Spring Water to make these kits. They come sealed in a bag with a microporous filter patch to ensure freshness, purity and viability of the mushroom culture within.

Follow the directions included with your kit! These kits will use the same cultivation directions as our Blue Oyster Mushroom Growing Kits which can also be found on snovalleymushrooms.com. These are the same kits as we use to produce Marbled Oyster Mushrooms on our farm for sale to local restaurants, farmers markets, so you can be sure that you will succeed! **Note**: The grower should expect to provide a growing environment with LOTS OF FRESH AIR and regular watering to maintain humidity! The only time people have issues is when they're growing these kits in a closet, unventilated mini-greenhouse, or any other environment with stagnant air. Simply put, lots of fresh air = SUCCESS! Open counter-tops in regularly occupied spaces or OUTDOORS is best for Oyster mushrooms! Furthermore, those in dry climates, or whose homes have very dry air, may need to spray additional water on their crops daily for best results!
