Who we are

Farm To You (farmtoyou.co) is an online marketplace where local farms and food producers sell direct to households, restaurants, shops and other wholesale buyers. It is operated by J & A Solutions, LLC (doing business as Farm To You), 66-437 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712, USA. In this notice "we", "us" and "Farm To You" mean that company. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why, and who sees it.

What we collect

• Account and contact details: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and delivery or pickup address.
• Orders and lists: what you order, the produce lists you send us (typed, pasted or as a photo), the prices farms quote you, and your order history.
• Producer details: if you sell on Farm To You, your farm or business details, product listings, pickup and delivery settings, and the information our payment provider needs to pay you.
• Payments: card payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Messages: what you send us by chat, email, contact form, phone or text message, so that we can answer.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and similar usage data, collected with cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

• To run your account, take and deliver orders, and pass your list to farms that can price it.
• To pay producers and keep the records the law requires.
• To answer your questions and send service messages about your order, list or account.
• To send our email newsletter if you subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
• To understand how the site is used so that we can improve it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Producers you buy from. When you place an order, the producer receives what they need to fulfil it, such as your name, the items, and your delivery or pickup details. When you send a list, farms see your town and your list, not your name or number, until you order from them.
• Companies that work for us. Payment processing, shipping and delivery, email delivery, website hosting and security, customer support software, analytics, and automated tools that read a list you upload. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our producers or Farm To You.
• If the business changes hands. If Farm To You is sold or merged, customer information may transfer to the new owner under the same commitments made here.

None of the above applies to your mobile number collected for text messaging, your SMS opt-in data or your consent to receive texts. Those are never shared or sold. See Text Messaging (SMS) below.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and measure how the site is used. Some pages also load analytics and advertising tools from Google, Meta, LinkedIn and X so that we can measure visits and show our own adverts on those services. These tools receive browsing information such as pages viewed. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although you may need to sign in more often.

How long we keep it

We keep account and order information for as long as your account is open and afterwards for as long as we need it for tax, accounting and legal records. You can ask us to close your account and delete information we are not required to keep.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), payments are handled by a certified payment provider, and access to customer information is limited to people who need it to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.

Your choices

• See and update your details at any time in your account.
• Unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in any email.
• Stop text messages by replying STOP.
• Ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days.

Children

Farm To You is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell account holders by email.

Text Messaging (SMS)

We collect your mobile number for text messaging in two ways: when you text us at +1 (856) 432-7628, or when you give your number and tick the optional box agreeing to texts on the list form at farmtoyou.co/wholesale. Ticking the box is never required to send a list. If you text us, we use your number only to reply to you. If you ticked the box, we use it only to text you about that list, for example when farms price it. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

No mobile information, SMS opt-in data or consent will be shared or sold to third parties, affiliates or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data described in this notice exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
