Amza Superfoods invites you to embark on an extraordinary culinary adventure, specializing in wellness-focused, functional, and incredibly convenient food options.

At the heart of our offerings are our gut-healthy and heart-healthy Tsamba (or Tsampa) snacks, breakfast mixes, and our delectable Flaxseed Butters—all meticulously handcrafted in small batches in the lush landscapes of Oregon.

Tsampa is praised by The Guardian, "the breakfast of champions: the Dalai Lama's tsampa."

Our products are designed to nourish and energize. With zero added sugars, additives, or artificial ingredients, our superfoods offer an effortless way to incorporate high fiber, protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and lignans into your busy lifestyle.

🏆 Our commitment to quality and nutrition has not gone unnoticed. The Specialty Food Association (SFA) recognized our Tsamba energy snacks with Oregon Hazelnuts as the "Top Specialty Food Trend" among nearly 1,100 exhibitors.

Additionally, our innovative 'Flaxseed Butter with Chili & Turmeric' 🌶️ garnered the 'Trend Spotlight' box display at the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show, further establishing our place in the wellness food landscape.

Amza Superfoods is proud to be the 1st brand in the USA to introduce a unique collection of ancient Tibetan nutrition tailored for today's health-conscious consumers.

Meet Jolma, the founder.
Hello, I'm Jolma, founder of Amza Superfoods, LLC. I was born and raised in Rebbong (རེབ་གོང་།), Amdo region of Tibet. Growing up in Rebgong, a vibrant cultural hub known for Tibetan arts (literature, painting & food), I learned cooking at a young age from my beloved late grandmother, Sonam, who raised me.

My grandmother was born a nomad and illiterate. Still, she understood the value of education and told me, "To discover the world, one must move beyond her own kitchen."
girl from my village to earn a college degree and my journey from Asia to Europe to America, learning English from the ABCs at age 30.

Despite facing many challenges, I built a successful career as a Product User Experience Designer, later leading design teams and providing consultancy in the tech industry for 17 years. However, I find more joy in making my kitchen utensils sing and dance and sharing my food and rich heritage with the people around me.

Inspired by Sonam and disadvantaged Tibetan women like her, I drafted a memoir cookbook, Beyond Her Kitchen (blog), chronicling Tibet's healthy eating traditions and the stories behind each bite.

This seed bloomed into a meaningful food business, Amza Superfoods, from my Portland kitchen in 2023.
