HI Land Farm is a 4-acre, family-run farm located in Wahiawa, Oahu. Our farm was built on a simple but deep personal belief: living on an island has taught us that food security matters, and we wanted to be part of the solution.
We started farming because we felt a strong urge to become more self-reliant. In Hawaii, where most of our food is imported, that dependence has never felt fully secure, especially when facing disruptions like storms, shipping delays, or rising costs. We wanted to take a step toward a more resilient and sustainable future, not just for ourselves, but for our children and our community.

At the same time, farming is how we are raising our two children. We want them to grow up close to nature, understanding the value of hard work, responsibility, and working with their own hands. Being on the farm gives them a chance to see where food comes from, to respect the land, and to experience the rewards that come from dedication and care.
Our children are growing up on this farm—learning the value of hard work, responsibility, and a deep connection to the land.
Support Our Farm
Recent flooding has impacted our ability to continue farming. Your support can help us rebuild and grow again.
Fresh. Local. Grown. Rebuilding Stronger Through Regenerative Farming
After severe flooding hit our North Shore fields, Hi Land LLC rebuilt our soil using regenerative farming practices — and we're back to harvesting for the Haleiwa & Waialua community.
When flooding hit our farm, it could have ended things. Instead, we treated it as a turning point — rebuilding our soil from the ground up through regenerative farming practices. That work is paying off: our fields are healthy again, and we're back to growing the crops our North Shore neighbors count on.
The floods left significant damage across our farm, and we now face the long road of rebuilding. Our greatest recovery needs are:
Rebuild & Restore
Cleaning up debris, repairing infrastructure, and restoring proper drainage
Heal the Soil
Remediating and rebuilding healthy soil with regenerative practices
Replant for Harvest
Reseeding crops so we can grow and feed our community again

Before the Flood A thriving farm growing fresh food for our community
AFTER
After the Flood The flood tested us — but it pushed us toward regenerative practices that are making our soil, and our farm, stronger for the long run.
What survived the flood didn’t survive the damage. While some plants may still be standing, our cilantro is showing severe moisture damage from the recent flooding. The plants are riddled with fungus and other moisture-related issues. They are no longer safe for sale and would begin to decompose almost immediately after harvest. Making our entire crop lost to the flooding.
