ABOUT THE FARM

HI Land Farm is a 4-acre, family-run farm in Wahiawa, Oahu.

We started farming with a deep belief in strengthening local food security in Hawaii, where most food is imported. Disruptions like storms, shipping delays, and rising costs can quickly impact access to fresh produce, and we wanted to be part of the solution.

We specialize in cilantro and leafy greens like green garlic and green onions. We take pride in our quality—for example, harvesting cilantro with roots intact to preserve freshness, flavor, and shelf life.

Farming is also how we are raising our two children. Through this work, they learn responsibility, resilience, and the value of working with their hands while staying connected to the land.

FLOOD IMPACT
How the Floods Affected Us

Recent severe flooding has significantly damaged our farm.

Large portions of our fields were submerged, washing out planting beds, destroying crops, and disrupting our growing cycles. Months of hard work were lost in a matter of days.

Beyond immediate crop loss, the flooding also damaged our soil structure, making it difficult to replant without restoration. What once was productive land now requires time, effort, and resources to recover.

Our children growing up on the farm, learning to care for the land and understand where food comes from.
FLOOD DAMAGE
We Need Your Help to Rebuild
The flooding has set us back significantly, and we have not yet been able to recover.

Our fields remain damaged, crops have been lost, and rebuilding requires resources that we cannot manage alone. While we are committed to continuing, we need support to restore our farm and get back to growing.

Without help, it will take much longer to recover—and we risk falling further behind.
